Hi guys, I am glad to let you know that my Company is hiring two devs. The Company is growing and the IT team has to grow too!

Actually I am looking for two Senior Developers that are interested in join our cool team here in Bermuda and may also consider to relocate in the future to the awesome San Francisco, in US. The first period will be in Bermuda than it will be up to you to decide to stay in Bermuda or move to SF.

If you believe you are one of them that can make the difference, just contact me through my blog and I will let you know what to do and where to send the application.

Right now we are looking for two senior developers with the following characteristics:

  • At least 5 years of experience with Windows Form and possibly good knowledge of WPF too. I am not interested in Silverlight and we don’t use it here.
  • Good knowledge of WCF, how it works and how it can be used in a SOA environment.
  • Preferred, good knowledge of WF (Windows Workflow). The version 4, not the old version 3.5. Winking smile
  • Absolutely, at least basic knowledge of what an O/RM is, NHIbernate and Entity Framework. Related topics like UnitOfWork, Repository, Transactions and so on …
  • Preferred knowledge of a Client UI composition Framework like CAB, SCSF or Prism. This is what we use here! Winking smile
  • Good knowledge of agile techniques in general, DDD, TDD and all the other fancy words we use in our job … Smile

If you believe you are one of those guys out there that can make the difference, that you are eager for knowledge and you want to work in a nice place like Bermuda is, give me a shot! Of course you will work with me … Surprised smile

PS: Just to make it clear, I am not interested in: remote consulting, remote whatever, consulting, job agencies and so on. Winking smile

"Of course you will work with me … "

    Really? Then I won`t come :P ;-)

    "CAB, SCSF or Prism."

Good that you still mentioned Prism, because CAB/SCSF is/was a dead horse. Terrible to use it. Think of the RootWorkItem as a global variable XD.

How is your MCTS going Raffaele? (I guess you dropped it due to the book writing? Would make sense hehe ) I am just preparing for the 70-511 and its much less pain as the 70-536 .NET 2.0 Hack...

Wish you merry Christmas down the seas with your family and a good finish of your books. I hope after that time we see some nice blog posts again ;-)

    Cheers,

    Bastien

Ah ah man, you're funny. I know that SCSF is stone-age but unfortunately I have to deal with Windows Form developers so not a lot of PRISM yet.
The books are going well, the one about MVVM and PRISM is almost done while the other about WPF will be ready in the spring.
After that I have something like 15 posts in archive ... Every time I get an idea I write down a draft for a post, be sure that probably in christmas I will write some nice tips about MVVM and MEF and I am experimenting some 'navigation' stuff. ;-)
Take care too and have a nice Christmas time with you family too!

I am sorry but we do not process people from India and other oriental countries due to the difficult of getting a US Visa.

    Ciao Raffaele,
è da un po' che sto riflettendo sull'opportunità di lavorare fuori.
Ho più di dieci anni di esperienza in .net sia vb che c# con winform e asp.net, e circa da un anno sto sviluppando applicazioni wpf e silverlight.

    Saluti

    Good afternoon -
I would be interested in discussing this opportunity with you if it is still available. I am currently residing in Burmuda and have a full work permit for 3 years.
My current company has just informed us that they are moving operations to London by Sept 30, 2011. I would actually like to stay here in Burmuda a bit longer, but would rather relocate to SF than London. My skill set consists of .NET, Web, Forms, WPF, WCF, linq and much more. I am a U.S. citizen and am here in Burmuda. My current employer has already said they'd grant us a full release if desired to stay in Burmuda. If still available, please send me an email and I'll get you a current copy of my resume and we can talk.

    Thank you,
    Jay Garrison
